Autumn: Le temps de loisirs (Theme 1 Identity and Culture)
  • Talking about Sports, the internet and usage of modern technology, music, TV, reading habits and going out with friends

Spring: Jours ordinaires, jours de fetes. (Theme 1 Identity and Culture)
  • Discussing daily life, routines, clothes etc
  • Talking about festivals and traditions in France and abroad
  • Shopping for food and special meals. Learning about family celebrations

Summer: De la ville a la Campagne. (Theme 2 Local, National, International and global areas of interest)
  • Describing a region, finding out tourist information, discussing plans and the weather
  • Talking about your town, village or neighbourhood and what you can do there (including local environment problems)

Year 11 French Curriculum

Autumn: Le grand large (Theme 2 Local, National, International and global areas of interest)
  • Talking about what you normally do on holiday: Hotels, activities, travel, eating out and possible holiday disasters

Spring: Au college/bon travail (Theme 3 Current and future study) ALSO (Theme 2 Local, National, International and global areas of interest)
  • Revision of school subjects, opinions on them and other school facilities
  • Discussing about your own school and those in France. Rules and regulations in school
  • Activities in and out of school. Future plans, how to earn money. Healthy/unhealthy living
