How to apply for a place at Darrick Wood School

Parents/carers of children wishing to apply for a secondary school place at Hayes School should do so through the London Borough of Bromley who manage secondary school admissions to Hayes School.

Applications for a place in Year 7 must be made in accordance with the local council arrangements and the Admissions Policy for Darrick Wood School (see links below).

Darrick Wood School consultation on admissions took place from 22nd November 2023 to 3rd January 2024 and is now complete.

The school has thanked and responded to any persons who engaged in the consultation. The Governing Body has determined to ho ahead with the following planned changes:

Sibling criterion - the previous wording advising "However, this sibling rule does not apply to siblings of pupils in the Deaf Centre" has been removed.
